Mobile Media Show #15 (MP3 – 5.6MB – 24min)

Matteo Penzo is one of the key people behind a great mobile application that allows you to upload photos to Flickr from your mobile.

The project was seeded in Google-style personal time at Consult Technology in Milan, Italy.

Matteo explains how the application was built on the Flickr APIs and how programmers around the world are participating in the development of MobUp.

He has also some wonderful ideas about how the mobile can assist in breaking down the digital divide and allows the spread of information in countries where freedom of speech is suppressed.
